    1. The bromeliad is more deep burgundy, with gray stripes. Love it even it is not blooming. Also love it can take the Florida full sun.

  3. Hi Ami...The needle flower plant that you mailed me just bloomed for the first time today. I've been watching the buds stretching to the sky and wondered what they would look like. I'm thrilled with them. Yours are beautiful!

    1. Susan: I was wondering how was yours doing when I saw my need flower started setting buds. Glad yours survived, mine is growing into a big bush after three years even I did some big trim. It looks even more beautiful when blooming in mass.

  5. Thanks. I was eagerly waiting for the bloom when I saw the red bracts shooting out from the center. First time blooming is always exciting, and it turns out be a beautiful one!

  7. According to Stanford Medical, It is indeed the one and ONLY reason women in this country get to live 10 years more and weigh an average of 19 kilos lighter than us.

(And by the way, it has totally NOTHING to do with genetics or some secret-exercise and really, EVERYTHING about "HOW" they eat.)

BTW, What I said is "HOW", and not "WHAT"...
