"Gardening is about enjoying the smell of things growing in the soil, getting dirty without feeling guilty, and generally taking the time to soak up a little peace and serenity. " ~Lindley Karstens

June Garden Update

It has been busy time for me, but wanted to at least share some pictures before June goes by.

The first picture actually was taken at the end of May.  I bought this Cattleya Orchid in a bag from one of the big box stores three years ago.  The first two years it grew so slow, until the third year, it started growing faster and bigger, and at the end of May, it rewarded me three gorgeous big flowers, almost 5 inch across.  I think I will go to buy more of these, they are just so beautiful, worth the waiting!

June flowers grow wild in my garden, thanks abundant rains that South Florida has had.

Compare the following picture to the one I took three months ago when this flower bed was just open.  Wow, the plants especially the Portulaca 'Fairytale Cinderella' really grows so quickly, my solar pagoda is almost buried.  A trim is in the order...

the same area three month ago
I don't think I have posted this birdbath picture yet although I have had it for a while.

Portulaca 'Fairytale Cinderella' and moss rose in my favorite froggie planter...

My Siam tulips (Curcuma alismatifolia) have just started blooming.  I have another light pink one, not yet bloom.

The light pink ground orchids are in the peak.

Other areas of the garden...

The first picture is the front garden, I re-did part of the front garden one month ago. I will post more about this project later when I have some time.

Bromeliads are changing colors...

This Kalanchoe thyrsiflora was a pup from my friend's garden, now it has its own pups.

I and my family will go back to China to visit my parents for three weeks in the middle of July.  If I don't get time to post again before I leave, I wish all my gardener friends a great summer.  Stay cool :)  Or to the friends who are in the winter season, stay warm!   Happy Gardening!

  2. Dear Ami ~ It is good to see your lovely bloomers and read your post. You have so much going on there and it must be such a joy to walk around your gardens. Everything looks wonderful and oh so colorful. We have had some wonderful rain that's for sure, almost too much last Sunday.

Have a wonderful vacation back home visiting your folks.

  9. In this manner my partner Wesley Virgin's tale begins in this SHOCKING and controversial VIDEO.

You see, Wesley was in the army-and shortly after leaving-he unveiled hidden, "mind control" tactics that the CIA and others used to get anything they want.

These are the EXACT same tactics tons of celebrities (especially those who "come out of nothing") and elite business people used to become rich and famous.

You probably know how you use only 10% of your brain.

Really, that's because most of your BRAINPOWER is UNCONSCIOUS.

Perhaps that thought has even taken place INSIDE your very own head... as it did in my good friend Wesley Virgin's head about seven years back, while riding an unlicensed, garbage bucket of a vehicle without a license and $3 in his bank account.

"I'm very frustrated with going through life paycheck to paycheck! When will I get my big break?"

You took part in those thoughts, ain't it right?

Your success story is waiting to be written. Go and take a leap of faith in YOURSELF.
