Not only there are abundant wildflowers in Yellowstone, we also had lots of close encounters of wildlife such as Mule Deer, Bison, Moose, Elks, Pronghorn Antelopes and coyotes.

After a long winter, Bison still have ragged patches of lighter-colored, old hair that have not shed.

Don't you love a meadow like this? This meadow is close to Yellowstone lake.

All of these were very small part of all pictures I took during our two week trip. I am glad that I finally get chance to share with you, and I do hope my pictures could trigger some interests if you have not been there before, or stir up some beautiful memories of yours if you have visited there.
The Park has a wide array of flora n fauna. Liked the Geysers n the Bison. The wild flowers are beautiful!

ReplyDeleteWonderful "postcard" shots again, Ami! Such a great variety of wildlife and wildflowers up there. It does remind me of a vacation we took to the Canadian Rockies many years ago. Breathtaking scenery! I am jealous that you have been able to see such sights as geysers and the Grand Canyon! Lucky you! I do wish we had such lovely "meadows" here in Florida. Thanks for sharing your trip with us!
